Moustache Night/Competition and Show this Saturday @ Atlantic!!!

Monday, March 16th, 2009
Hey everyone,

The 2nd annual moustache night/competition is this saturday night at the Atlantic.  We’re playing with Bang Bang Boom and Badge, two great bands.  The show starts at 10:00 and is $6 for over 21 and $8 for under 21.

We hope you have been harvesting and grooming those whiskers all year long and are ready to stache it up.

There will be a formal contest and crowd/judge voting for the winner.  Here are the rules!

1. It must be a moustache! Get creative with it, but when we see your face, we don’t want to think, tha’ts really a beard/goatee/etc.  Feel free to combine the moustache with sideburns, neck beard, or whatever your heart desires.

2. there are no more rules!

There will be cash* and prizes

*there will be no cash.

Harvest of Hope wrapup

Sunday, March 8th, 2009
We all agree that last night was one of our most fun shows ever.  The festival seemed to be a huge success to us: The bands were treated well, the lineup was great, and the crowd showed up to support.  I hope the organizers considered it a success as well.

As far as the actual set, we went on in front of a great crowd, played a kickass set (We were afforded more time than every other band on our stage except one), had a killer sing along for I found Jesus, and even threw records out into the crowd (no one was injured!).

Shows like last night make it all worth while.  Many thanks to all who came.

Moustache Night Correction

Saturday, March 7th, 2009
Sorry, there was a mistake with the Moustache Night post. The show is March 21, not March 27. That gives you one less week of moustache growing time, so try extra hard to make your facial hair grow before the 21st.
